Pros:

- Variety of exterior colors – Eggplant stood out well on the airport luggage carousel
- Interior color was bright and fun – orange
- Easy to organize the interior using the mesh pockets and compression straps
- Sturdy wheels – easy to pull over cobbled streets, carpet and uneven surfaces
- Expandable – ideal for souvenir shopping or packing heavy jackets
- Soft-sided shell made it easy to pack
- Stands upright even when fully packed – did not topple over once
- Telescopic handle adjusts to 3 heights
- Easy to pick up with the 2 external handles
- Very manageable bag to handle when filled to capacity
Cons:
- Exterior material is not waterproof
Bottom Line:
Viv used the eBags TLS 25″ Expandable Upright during a 109-day trip around Europe and South Africa. This is definitely an excellent piece of luggage and one that will be used whenever a larger bag is required. It survived being checked-in for 12 flights, hauled over miles of pavement, pulled through multiple airports, crammed into the trunk of rental cars and taxis, plus up and down the steps on buses and trains. Other than getting drenched on one flight segment (baggage wasn’t covered in a downpour at London Heathrow when it was transferred between flights), this piece survived very nicely and just needed wiping down to remove dirt from the exterior.
