WJ Tested: Jill’s Review

I wore this RFID (radio-frequency identification system) Blocker Neck Wallet while on my last trip to Europe. To date, I am not absolutely certain that RFID protection is necessary for me based on all of my research. The fact that this neck wallet is essentially the same size as any other neck wallet, I don’t see any reason not to have the added (potential) benefit of one which blocks the bad guys from scanning any of my personal information.

According to the U.S. Department of State, my passport is secure. And, I don’t think there are chips to be read in my US issued credit cards. But who knows? And who knows when things might change. Or maybe you are from a different country that protection would be critical. All I’ve got to say is it can’t hurt to be too safe in this day and age. Just go for it. Go for RFID and perhaps feel just a little bit safer out there.

Travel Tip:

For complete security from thieves, make sure to wear your neck wallet under your clothing. If you fall asleep on a bus or train and someone snips your neck wallet off as it sits on top of your clothes, it’s not going to be the most pleasant travel experience.
