Being a member of the French Sofitel Hotel Group is definitely a benefit for the luxury 5-star Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit Hotel – where French and Thai influences blend perfectly throughout the property.
LOCATION:
The Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit is ideally located near the Nana and Askok BTS stations in the bustling financial and shopping district of Sukhumvit in Bangkok. It is also very close to the Sukhumvit MRT subway station, which is quick and easy to use to get to/from Hua Lamphong Train Station.
ALLURE:
Bangkok is a bustling metropolis that welcomes and captivates her visitors through fascinating culture, incredible food, inspiring sights and friendly people – it is simple to see why it is one of the world’s top destinations. Not only is the city easy to get to from International destinations, it is easy to get around – especially when using a longtail boat or ferry on the mighty Chao Phraya River to get to various sites.
ROOMS:
Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit has 345 luxury rooms and suites. The incredibly comfortable and over-sized beds are adorned with duvets and luxurious linens. Although Sofitel offers the MyBed concept (different overlay mattresses to fit individual guest’s body contours and firmness preference), we found the beds perfect just as they were and didn’t require any adjustment. The desk layout was excellent for working, with plenty of plugs for charging electronics. The guest room was spacious and well-appointed and also had good lighting – ideal for reading or working. The marble bathroom had a large soaking tub and separate rainfall shower. Top quality Hermes bathroom products included bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion.
DINING:
Enjoy an extensive breakfast buffet at Voila! – and make sure not to miss the Cheese Room. The finest culinary experience can be enjoyed at the French inspired L’Appart Restaurant on the 32nd floor. At L’Appart, top quality ingredients and impeccable service meld together to enhance the first-class dining. For a more relaxed atmosphere Le Bar de L’Hôtel on the lobby level is perfect for lounging with a cocktail or casual dining.
DON’T MISS:
- Le SPA with L’Occitane – Thai Massage is among the many treatment options available and proved an excellent way to stretch and relax before (or after) a long flight.
- Club Millesime on 31st floor – Well worth booking an Executive Room with access to Club Millesime – butler service, continental breakfast, use of lounge, afternoon tea (2-4pm), complimentary cocktails and appetizers (5-7pm).
- View from the 32nd floor balcony – spectacular panoramic city views
- The outdoor pool – although it is not heated and is chilly even on hot days, it is perfect for cooling off after a day of sightseeing in Bangkok

Business and leisure travellers alike will find the location and facilities at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit perfect for all their needs. We suggest spending a minimum of three nights at this hotel if you want to see the sights around Bangkok.
