All of CopperWynd’s recently renovated 32 guest rooms boast private balconies and terraces with breathtaking mountain views. Our resort king room included a gas fireplace, a 46-inch flat screen television and an oversize deep soaking bathtub with separate shower.

Guests of the resort are also extended access to CopperWynd’s unique country club lifestyle. The Resort offers a boutique spa, state-of-art fitness center, two-lane outdoor lap pool, heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, nine lighted tennis courts and nearby hiking trails.

The Spa at CopperWynd, one of the resort’s most recent enhancements, was designed for those who wish to bring a sense of balance into their lives. During my 60-minute Swedish Massage, the therapist immediately put me at ease. By using a combination of Amethyst-infused oils and long, soothing hand massage strokes, she released all the tension from my body. This spa oasis offers guests a full array of skin and body treatments, as well as relaxing lounges in a dimly lit room facing a shimmering silver bead wall.
For guests who wish to combine relaxation with exercise, the Club fitness center features the latest cardiovascular equipment. For tennis players, Cliff Drysdale pros offer different clinic levels that range from the basic fundamentals to advanced stroke development.

Pairing the talents of an award-winning chef and an inviting decor, Flourish offers healthful New American cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The open walls bring the outside in, so the incredible views provides an amazing backdrop for diners. Our dinner menu offered a variety of hearty and healthy dishes, complemented with an impressive selection of wines. The server suggested the crispy Brussels Sprouts for starters. With focus on the chef’s seasonal favorites, we highly recommend the Muscovy Duck Breast and Seared Diver Scallops topped with several sides. Flourish also features a popular weekday happy hour in the stylish lounge and outdoor dining terrace.
As our weekend retreat drew to an end, my husband and I realized that nature has become an integral part of our lives. Whether our mission was to seek out the serenity of the desert, enjoy regional cuisine or simply be pampered, CopperWynd Resort and Spa offered the winning combination!
