Just as in purchasing a house, finding a place to camp in your RV when visiting a major U.S. city primarily involves one thing… location, location, location! You want a secure facility close to the places you will be visiting and in New Orleans this means you should stay at the French Quarter RV Resort (FQRV).

The boundary of the French Quarter is just across the street from the FQRV and a ten-minute walk has you in the hub of the Quarter ( i.e. Bourbon Street and Toulouse Street). Getting to this resort could not be easier as it is located less than a ¼ mile from I-10 at Exit 235A and there are signs to guide you.
As you approach the French Quarter RV Resort you recognize and appreciate the large sturdy wrought-iron security gate of this walled facility, which includes 24-hour on-site management and monitored security.

Once inside the walk you feel as if you have arrived at an oasis. RV rigs of all sizes surround the immaculately maintained grounds and centrally located common facilities. Operated like a luxury hotel, the facility includes a salt-water pool, heated spa, gas grill, ice machine, business office (with a computer for guest use), exercise room, recreation room, etc.

The immaculately clean bathhouse includes a superb laundry area and four individual bathrooms complete with facilities including a shower (each room has its own individually controlled vent and heater).

Each of the 52 paved sites is at least 30’ wide x 60’ deep and features 20/30/50 amp electric, hardwired and wireless internet access, a live telephone line, 62 channels of cable TV, city water and sewer.
The office manager for the FQRV, Bianca Brindisi, explained “people should consider staying with us at FQRV because we’re not just a park but an RV resort. We offer guests a plethora of amenities here and strive to show them the definition of southern hospitality. We are right across the street from the famous French Quarter and it’s hard to believe an RV resort of this caliber is so close within city limits & steps away to the quarter and its many tourist attractions.”
