The second annual Sunriver Brewfest brought together 15 breweries and a cider company on Saturday May 31, 2014 from noon until 6 pm, a terrific event during Central Oregon Beer Week 2014. The $25 entry fee included a commemorative mug, 12 (4 oz) tokens for tastings and live entertainment. Sunriver Resort offered Brewfest Lodging Packages for this event, which WJ was thrilled to experience – a great way to enjoy the beer tastings and then dine and overnight at the lodge.

WJ TOP BEER PICKS:
The Sunriver Brewfest turned out to be one of our favorite events during Central Oregon Beer Week; it was very well organized and not too large. From the 15 fantastic beers we sampled, we eventually made our top pick choices (it was tough to narrow down):
- Viv’s top pick was Sunriver Brewing Company’s India Session Ale and runner up was 10 Barrel Brewing’s O.G. Ale
- Jill’s top pick was Cascade Lakes’ 20th Anniversary IPA and runner up was Worthy Brewing’s Eruption Imperial Red Ale
