Ale Apothecary Tasting – Central Oregon Beer Week 2014
DETAILS:
Free sample of La Tache and Sahalie from Ale Apothecary at Crow’s Feet Commons in downtown Bend, Oregon. One free sample per person. Further samples of La Tache, Sahalie and El Cuatro are available for sale – $5.
SETTING:
Located at 875 Northwest Brooks Street in Bend, Oregon, Crow’s Feet Commons offers a tap room with a wide selection of rotating beers. Some of the best views of the Deschutes River and Cascade Mountains are found from their patio and Mirror Pond Plaza.
ALE APOTHECARY TASTING:
- Sahalie – 9-11% Mixed Fermentation Ale. This brew is the flagship of Ale Apothecary. It is fruity, tart, tropical and has citrus notes with a hint of hops.
- La Tache – 7-9% Mixed Fermentation Ale. A malted barley, wheat and Goschie Farms Cascade Hops table sour beer that is produced year-round.
This was the first time WJ had sampled any brews from The Ale Apothecary – we were thrilled to discover these interesting and unique vintage batch beers from brewer Paul Arney.
Cheers,
