We only had time to spend one night at Orange Hotel in Danang, Vietnam, but it was excellent. This is a new hotel – just 3 months old – and is very well designed and incredibly comfortable.
Not only were we impressed with the friendly, professional and attentive staff, but the quality of room furnishings and amenities was very good.
From the moment the staff met us at the train station in Danang and transferred us to the hotel, until the moment our hotel-arranged transfer whisked us away to our next destination near Hoi An, we were very happy with our choice of hotel.
The guest room – we had a standard twin – was ideal for our short stay. One of the things we often find in hotels is the lighting is inadequate – can’t read without putting your head under the lamp – but, at Orange Hotel the placement of lights in the room and bathroom was perfect. We had a room towards the back of the hotel on the 8th floor – which was nice and quiet. Also, the AC worked really nicely and was very quiet.
Cleanliness is excellent – not a thing out of place and everything is maintained and working. We really like the two pairs of slippers provided – one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom.
The breakfast buffet was also very good and had a large selection – fresh fruit, pho, omelettes made to order, a variety of Vietnamese dishes and great coffee. We also enjoyed taking our time as we took in the expansive city views – the restaurant is on the 10th floor of the hotel.
