Arriving in Hue, in Central Vietnam, after a brief flight from Ho Chi Minh City with Vietnam Airlines, we were whisked away to the delightful La Residence Hotel & Spa. This property is 5-star all the way!
The staff at the hotel is incredibly friendly, gracious and professional. Our room (with a spectacular view of the Perfume River and Citadel) has art-deco lines, is very classy, supremely comfortable and is tastefully decorated. A beautiful outdoor swimming pool is enticing us to take a dip, even though the weather is a little cool and rainy.
Afternoon spa treatments proved exactly what these weary travellers needed. Jill was soothed and detoxified by a Vietnamese massage and cupping treatment. Viv found the Thai massage perfect for stretching out and relaxing tense muscles. This was definitely a perfect way to spend the afternoon and just enjoy the property and available services.
