Epic Southwest USA Road Trip – Day 22: Bryce Canyon & Zion National Park
Snapshots of WAVEJourney’s road trip to Bryce Canyon National Park and Zion National Park in Utah.
After spending the night in St. George, we decided to take a drive to see Kolob Canyons in a section of Zion National Park (on the southwest side).
Next we continued our drive north to Cedar City and along UT-14 E that goes through Dixie National Forest (we had planned on visiting Cedar Breaks National Monument but the road was closed) to Red Canyon and Bryce Canyon National Park.
This was a trip that was definitely worth taking – Bryce Canyon was incredible!
Once we were finished with Bryce Canyon we drove south along US-89 to Zion National Park, where we drove right through the park and came out in Springdale, Utah.
By this time we were exhausted from all our sightseeing and driving, so it was time to drive back to St. George, where we again spent the night at the lovely Best Western Coral Hills Hotel in the Historic Downtown.
