If you’re following along with us on Facebook, you know that June has been a very busy travel month for WAVEJourney as we started out with an Adriatic cruise with Katarina Line aboard the beautiful ship Majestic (her Captain and crew were top-notch). We will have lots to share about this incredible voyage (… and are already looking at when we can take another Katerina Line cruise in Croatia next year). We highly recommend you consider taking one of their cruises soon – they have a ship and itinerary to suit everyone.

Next we were off to France to spend a week in the Ariege Pyrenees with an adventure-packed itinerary by Penny from The Adventure Creators. Wow! What a gorgeous destination with fantastic history, amazing people, delicious food and all at tremendous value. We know we will return soon, and suggest you chat with a local expert (Penny) to organize your trip there.

Then it was time to explore the Dordogne department in France. Another brilliant place with endless opportunities to discover the area. During our time in France we had a rental car that was arranged for us through Auto Europe (we are very impressed by their services). They have some interesting travel tips for France you might enjoy.

BTW: If you are considering spending time in the Costa Brava, Spain we’d advise renting a villa with family and/or friends and spending a week or two at the luxury Mas Talaia Villa. If you want to see other luxury villas in Catalonia, take a look at those listed with Charming Villas – we recommend their services, too.
Next up we are excited to take our first river cruise with CroisiEurope – a river cruise in Bordeaux.
For those of you that are wondering how we’re staying connected during our travels in Europe, we’re connected to the internet everywhere we go thanks to RoamingMan. They offer free roaming and flat rate prices for their mobile 4G WiFi hotspot, and we’re testing it out for almost 3 months in a dozen countries.
