A: In Aruba it is fun to rent a jeep and go where you want. The cost for renting a jeep is about US$125 for the day, and if you drive along the coast you can find secluded areas and beautiful natural pools. It is possible to pre-book online (Caribbean Cruise Excursions gets good reviews) and pick-up the jeep near the pier. The best beach is probably Palm Beach, and cruise passengers can catch a local bus there from outside the port gate. (a bus terminal is to the right – and then left. Eagle Beach is also very popular on Aruba and can be reached from the public bus stop, or a 45-minute walk from the pier.
