S.S. LEGACY CABINS:
- 6 cabin categories – all with private bathrooms: Master; Commander; Captain; Admiral; Jr. Commodore; Owner’s Suite
- We were in cabin 315; a fixed twin bed Commander category
- All cabins have outside facing windows
- The cabin doors can be locked from the inside, but there are no keys to lock them from the outside. This took a little getting used to, but was quite liberating. Also, as there are no safes in the cabins, we locked our valuables inside our suitcases during sailing and then took them with us when we went ashore.
- A rope knot is used as the Do Not Disturb – “Do Knot Disturb”.
- Cabin amenities: iPod docking station/alarm clock; TV/DVD player – only 4 ship’s channels play on the TV; binoculars; hair dryer; bathrobes; wooden hangers
- En-suite bathrooms are compact (room for one person at a time) with toilet, pedestal sink, shower (good water pressure), towel rack, hooks on inside of door; and water from the taps is safe to drink. Note: There is very limited counter space in the bathroom, so our hanging bathroom bag was ideal to use when hung on the hooks inside the door.
- En-suite bathroom amenities include: dispensers with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash; liquid handsoap; washcloths; hand towels; bath towels; tissues. Note: Body lotion is not provided, so be sure to bring your own.
- Storage was ample (with room to slide luggage under beds): drawers under beds; closet with wooden hangers and storage drawers;
- Desk with lamp, and chair
- Heating/air conditioning
- Emergency call button
- 110 volt electricity
- Life jackets in cabin
