One of the most scenic sections for taking a river cruise on the Danube River is through the Wachau Valley in Austria. During a Romantic Danube Christmas Market Cruise (on Viking River Cruises‘ Viking Delling) we were followed by a sister ship, Viking Idun. The new Viking Longships are sleek, spacious, modern, and a delight to sail on.
