Three in a Bun – Nuremberg Grilled Sausages

Sausages! Lovely sausages!
Nuremberg, Germany, is located in the Franconian region, and has their own style of grilled pork sausages.
This local sausage specialty (made according to traditional recipes) is known as “three in a bun” or “drei im weggla” in German.
Although we discovered these sausages while visiting the Nuremberg Christmas Market, they are easily found at various food stalls and restaurants around the city at any time of year.
They are delicious!
