Driving through the Sunnmøre region of Møre og Romsdal county in Norway, WJ visited the town of Geiranger. From above the town we caught our first glimpse of the spectacular 16 km-long, 250 meter-deep, UNESCO World Heritage Site of Geirangerfjord. Part way down the mountain we were able to stop at the Flydalsjuvet viewpoint where we (and a few tour buses) stopped to take photos of Norway’s most famous fjord and surrounding mountains.
