Blount Small Ship Adventures – 12-Day Bahamian Out Islands Cruise Preview

The WAVEJourney countdown to our next cruise adventure has begun. In just a few days (on March 10) we will join Blount Small Ship Adventures for the first time. Another first for us will be visiting the destinations on Blount’s Bahamian Out Islands cruise itinerary that starts and ends in Nassau.

As we prefer to arrive at the embarkation destination at least a day before a cruise starts (too many things can go wrong to try flying in on the day a cruise starts), we will fly into Nassau the evening of March 10 and stay on the Blount ship, Grande Mariner –  the Early Arrival Package is available to passengers on this voyage that don’t want to find a hotel for just one night. The actual cruise dates are from March 11 to 22, and after we disembark we will make the trek back home the same day.

We are definitely excited to get to Nassau and join Blount on what looks like a very fun and interesting cruise.

Cruise Overview:
Arrive in Bahamian paradise, where the tropical sun warms the sugar-white sands. Discover the historic downtown district of Nassau, New Providence, and relax on the pink-sand beaches of Harbour Island, known as “Briland” by the locals. Swim and snorkel in postcard-perfect Governour’s Harbour, then lounge on the scenic shores of the Exumas Cays. Relax in Compass Cay, a yachter’s paradise, and enjoy the natural majesty of Hawksbill Cay, a nearly uninhabited tropical outpost. Spend a leisurely afternoon on the beaches of Highbourne Cay, then return to magnificent Nassau to conclude your unforgettable Bahamian adventure.
