Today we moved to a lovely family-run hotel in Hoi An, Vietnam – Nhi Nhi Hotel. We first met the very gracious and kind owners at their new Orange Hotel in Danang. As we had a couple of days with nothing planned, we decided to stay with them in Hoi An – and we sure are glad we did.
Again, all of the staff that we have encountered are wonderful, friendly, helpful and can’t do enough to make sure we are well taken care of and enjoying our stay.
The hotel is quaint, quiet, has very comfortable rooms and is oozing with old-world charm – there is a very authentic feel to the place. There is also a nice pool in the center courtyard which is perfect for a dip after being out and about in the humidity.
Le at the reception was kind enough to help arrange bus transport to our next two destinations – Quy Nhon and Nha Trang. This was something we had been having a bit of trouble arranging by ourselves but now we’re all sorted. Le also made a call for us to book a one night stay in Quy Nhon – that had been another fruitless effort on our part.
We’re looking forward to breakfast in the morning – if it’s anything near as good as the one we had at Orange Hotel Danang, we know we’re in for a treat.
