Spring in The Netherlands is an absolutely fantastic time to visit!
Leaves on trees are starting to bud, daffodils and tulips are in bloom and the weather is warming up enough to be able to sit outside a cafe while enjoying a beverage or two.
Cafe Hans en Grietje is located near the Rijksmuseum (which reopened to the public in April 2013); it is definitely a wonderful place to meet the locals and do some people watching.
