Our drive today took us south from Sedona on I-17 in the direction of Phoenix. At exit #287 we headed east on AZ-260 toward Payson, then continued east for 90 miles to Show Low.

At Show Low we drove US-60 for 87 miles to Globe – passing through Salt River Canyon.

Salt River Canyon is a mini-version of the Grand Canyon and is within the Tonto National Forest.
