Today our drive was from Saddlebrook, Arizona (about 25 miles northeast of Tucson) to Fort Stockton, Texas. During the approximately 600 mile route along I-10 travelling east, we passed by Las Cruces in New Mexico and the sprawling city of El Paso in Texas.

We do recommend staying at Candlewood Suites in Fort Stockton – it was super-clean, comfortable, the service was excellent and the price was right!
