An excursion to see the gray whales at Magdalena Bay on the west coast of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula was filled with exciting sightings and interactions. WJ was amazed how friendly the gray whales were, and how they would pop up right next to boats and come out of the water so the passengers could actually pet them – yes you read correctly… PET THEM!
It was during our Un-Cruise Adventures‘ Baja’s Bounty cruise in the Sea of Cortes that we enjoyed this fascinating whale-watching excursion with Desert and Sea Adventures.
