Day 13:
While docked in Bratislava in Slovakia, the Captain’s Farewell Dinner onboard Uniworld River Princess was the highlight for the evening. Our Eastern Europe Explorer river cruise only had two nights remaining on board, so we were looking forward to a celebratory evening with our new-found friends.

The evening started by joining fellow passengers at 6:30 p.m. in the lounge for the Captain’s Farewell Reception. This was immediately followed by a delightful 4-course dinner in the restaurant.

Once dinner was complete we enjoyed a concert in the lounge between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. by the very entertaining local talent called the “Pressburger Duo”.

After the concert, River Princess set sail for Vienna in Austria, and onboard musician Freddy played the rest of the night away.
