Uniworld River Royale – Dinner in Cezanne Restaurant
River Royale ~ Dinner is Served
Aboard River Royale dinner was served in the Cezanne restaurant and was open seating. Crisp white table clothes, white linen napkins, free-flowing house wine, attentive service and dimmed lighting made the evening’s 4-course menu shine.
Uniworld River Royale – Dinner Appetizer
Typically, passengers could pick their choice from 2 starters, 2 soups, 2 or 3 main courses, 2 desserts, plus the regional cheese selection with fruit and crackers, followed by coffee or tea.
Uniworld River Royale – Dinner Main Course
Dining highlights throughout the cruise were the Captain’s Welcome Dinner, the Provencal Themed Dinner, the Epicurean Dinner, the Bouchon Lyonnais Themed Dinner and the Captain’s Farewell Dinner.
Uniworld River Royale – Dessert
For those that wanted to stick with simpler fare there was always the option of ordering a green salad, steak with fries or chicken with fries.
For those that wanted to count calories, there was the “Traveling Lite” menu each evening. For example:
– Starter: Tower of Mediterranean Vegetables – 306 calories; total fat 8 gr; sodium 0.4 mg.
– Main Course: Spaghetti with “Alio Olio” – 451 calories; total fat 11 gr; sodium 0.9 mg.
– Dessert: Assortment of Sherbet – 295 calories; total fat 1 gr; sodium 0.08 mg.
In addition to the complimentary house red and white wines served at dinner, there were other wines available to purchase if passengers so wished – recommendations to accompany each evening’s menu.
